Inizio Engage Nordic is partnering with Eisai to recruit a Customer Facing Brand Manager to lead strategic marketing and commercial initiatives in Denmark.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Customer-Facing Brand Manager Denmark will lead strategic marketing and commercial initiatives in Denmark in close collaboration with Nordic Sales & Marketing Director, to maximize the value and impact of Eisai’s current portfolio. A key priority is to establish and strengthen Eisai’s presence in Denmark by fostering effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This role is responsible for designing and executing omnichannel/digital strategies that enhance customer engagement, optimize the customer journey, and drive brand awareness and sales performance.  Additionally, the position plays a critical role in accelerating business growth, securing optimal product access, and building long-term strategic partnerships with healthcare professionals. The expectation for this individual is to demonstrate a proactive and positive ‘can-do’ attitude in all responsibilities associated with the Key Account Manager role. It will be highly important to secure and maintain access to relevant stakeholders and decision-makers across healthcare systems, ensuring that products are appropriately positioned to meet patient and provider needs.

ACCOUNT & RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • Achieve sales targets and market share growth for assigned products.
  • Independently plan and execute customer-facing activities to secure sales targets and market share growth for assigned products.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all commercial interactions in Denmark.
  • Proactively work with tender business in Denmark.
  • Build long-term partnerships with decision-makers, influencers, and key stakeholders (e.g., hospital administrators, procurement managers, KOLs).
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned key accounts.
  • Align account strategies with brand objectives.
  • Understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive mutual value.

BRAND STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT

  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and competitive dynamics.
  • Together with the Marketing & Sales Director, act as the key driver to execute strategy & tactics to ensure successful growth of current brands and launches of new brands/indications.
  • Adapt marketing materials and support for launches applicable to Denmark.
  • Support omnichannel campaigns and initiatives tailored to healthcare professionals, patients, and payers to enhance digital brand presence, including website optimization, social media, CRM, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Implement brand strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Position products effectively in the market to maximize visibility and uptake.
  • Take ownership and accountability for achieving all agreed business objectives, including local approval processes.
  • Oversee and initiate creation and localization of digital content (e.g., eDetailers, banners, videos) in collaboration with medical, legal, and marketing teams.

 CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION 

  • Work closely with marketing, sales, medical affairs, and regulatory, to align brand initiatives.
  • Ensure all communications and brand activities adhere to pharmaceutical regulations and ethical standards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, local codes).
  • Stay current with evolving digital regulations and industry standards.
  • Support the Nordic head office functions as needed.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Qualifications and education required:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Digital Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven experience in a specialist or secondary commercial role
  • Understanding of digital platforms preferred
  • Experience with omnichannel marketing and customer journey mapping is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Knowledge of oncology is an advantage.

  • Eye for detail. Able to do the “head’s down” work in addition to the other requirements.

  • Fast learner – You will be able to familiarize yourself with new therapeutic areas and compounds quickly.
